Yedi is an initiative born out of the commitment to showcase the lives and experiences of LGBTQIA+ Ethiopians. It is the result of our love for our communities and the need for articulating our stories in our own language and terms. Our platform celebrates our diverse identities through stories from Ethiopia and the diaspora using a variety of storytelling mediums.

የዲ ለማንነታችን ካለን ጥልቅ የሆነ ፍቅር እና ሆነ ተብሎ ተዛብቶ የሚቀርበውን የተመሳሳይ ጾታ አፍቃሪዎችን እውነተኛ ታሪኮች እና ድምጾችን ለማሰማት የተቋቋመ ነው።
Our mission is to create a platform that, through open dialogue and cultural exploration, highlights LGBTQ+ voices. We strive to contribute to the documented history of LGBTI+ Ethiopia through stories focused on the significant facets of our life.
